Waitlist privacy
Privacy Notice
This notice covers Maybuy’s public pre-launch landing page and waitlist only. It does not describe the data practices of a future Maybuy product.
Information collected
When you join, Maybuy collects your email address, any first name you choose to provide, any decision-challenge response you choose to provide, a record of your consent, and the date and time you joined. If you arrive through an Instagram campaign link, Maybuy also records “instagram” as the source. Other URL details are not stored with your waitlist entry.
Why it is used
Maybuy uses this information to operate the waitlist, understand what prospective users find difficult about purchase decisions, measure how many waitlist signups came from Instagram, manage private-preview invitations, and send updates about preview or release availability. Joining the waitlist is not a signup for an unrelated marketing newsletter.
Campaign measurement
Maybuy reads a limited source value from the page address when you submit the waitlist form. It accepts only an Instagram source tag and stores the normalized value “instagram” with the submission. Maybuy does not use a tracking pixel, third-party analytics, advertising cookies, or cross-site tracking for this measurement.
Service providers and sale of information
Infrastructure providers that host the site, store waitlist entries, or help deliver waitlist communications may process this information to provide those services. Maybuy does not sell waitlist information.
How long it is kept
Waitlist information is kept while Maybuy is managing the waitlist, private preview, and release communications, and is deleted when it is no longer needed for those purposes or when a deletion request is completed.
Your requests and contact
You may ask Maybuy to correct or delete your waitlist information, remove you from waitlist communications, or answer privacy questions. Email hello@maybuy.co with your request.
